Provides sales of custom published magazines, newsletters and other related media
Qualifications
- College degree
- Experience in marketing, direct marketing, advertising, publishing and sales.
- Must have strong telephone, verbal and written communications skills.
- Experience reaching marketing and communications executives is critical.
- Must have strong presentation skills.
- Must have history of negotiating complex relationships and contracts.
- Must be tenacious, self-managed and independent.
- Must interact with internal and external relationships with a high level of customer service, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
- Must be willing to go the extra mile for new business development.
- Must be inquisitive, probing and engaging.
- Must understand most creative and technical aspects of publishing and custom publishing.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Identifies opportunities for custom media relationships.
- Executes lead generation via daily outbound telephone prospecting, mail campaigns.
- Provides timely follow-up, qualifying prospects and setting sales appointments.
- Collects and maintains files of custom media products.
- Probe prospects for goals and create custom media strategy to achieve them.
- Work directly with creative, editorial, production, and client services.
- Must be able to physically and mentally handle frequent travel.
