In this senior position, you will lead a team of professionals who are the backbone of our print procurement, prepress, and workflow processing.  You will oversee the print procurement, pricing, R&D, vendor management and internal production and prepress on all custom publishing projects. As a skilled leader, relationship builder, and negotiator, you will lead your team with confidence, guide their professional development, and oversee recruiting and hiring. You will help your team build relationships with vendors while ensuring the best pricing.  You enjoy interacting with many different internal clients, and welcome a challenge with open arms.  No deadline is too tight for you; if it can be done, you’ll find the most efficient, expedient and cost-effective way to do it. Outstanding communication and leadership skills are a must, as are solid organizational skills that will help you manage multiple priorities while keeping your team on track. You work well both independently and as part of a team.

With a minimum of 10 years experience in the publishing/advertising print production arena, and 3 years of managerial experience, you are proficient in MS Office; Mac experience is a plus, as is general knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite including Photoshop and Acrobat.  Co-workers and clients alike enjoy working with you and trust your accuracy.
