Working at MacDUFF, you will wear plenty of hats – from developing creative concepts for new pitches with our Business Development Director, to creating templates for magazine launches and revamping existing titles with our Editors, to producing eye-catching page designs on a day-to-day basis on your own, to directing photo shoots around the country with some of the world’s best photographers!

We are far more interested in your talent than your current title, so if you feel you have the ability to step up and take on a role that will present a different challenge every day, let us know. We will also consider highly talented freelance designers looking to work on a semi-permanent basis in our north Atlanta offices.

Responsibilities
Work directly with respective Editors and Directors on the creative development for new and existing magazines.
Conceptualize new projects.
Photo research and sourcing.
Direction of photoshoots
Manage production budgets.

Qualifications
5 to 10 years experience as a senior magazine designer.
Experience in sports and lifestyle magazine designed preferred although not essential.
3 years experience directing and briefing photographers.
Solid understanding and knowledge of the latest pre-press requirements and processes.
Thorough working knowledge of Adobe software, including Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat

Compensation
